UNIVERSITY OF ELBASAN \u201cALEKSAND\u00cbR XHUVANI\u201d is happy to announce that it will be taking part in a new project called HEI4FUTURE. The project aims to turn the technological capacities into new skills, to generate new products and services working together with different industries. HEI4Future it is going to be achieve through a wide range of activities to promote entrepreneurship (training workshops for teachers and educational staff, students, managers and new entrepreneurs), workshops for teambuilding, direct support through mentoring or coach networks, and mobility programs to promote synergies between teams of entrepreneurs.<\/span><\/div>\n

The project will receive funding from the EIT HEI Initiative: Innovation Capacity Building for Higher Education. This initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) aims to boost the entrepreneurial and innovation capacity of higher education institutions (HEIs) across Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Under the EIT HEI Initiative, the project will receive funding of \u20ac55.000, and it will run until December 2022, with the possibility of getting extended for 18 more months.<\/span><\/p>\n

    About the EIT HEI Initiative<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    The EIT HEI Initiative is a key objective for the European Institute of Innovation and Technology as part of its new strategy. The initiative aims to support HEIs with expertise and coaching, access to the EIT innovation ecosystem, the largest in Europe,\u00a0 and funding, enabling them to develop innovation action plans complementing the needs of individual HEIs. This is the EIT HEI Initiative\u2019s second call for proposals, following the success of the 2021 Pilot Call. So far, the initiative has provided funding to nearly 50 projects. The next call for proposals is expected towards the end of 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n
